Yardley Hockey Club
Yardley Hockey Club is a Club Marked Club with Sport England. The club also has an official school to club link with Small Heath School, through England Hockey.
The club submitted an application to awards for all, which was successful and they have used the funds to deliver coaching sessions across the Small Heath School Cluster, hockey leagues, inter school competitions and the delivery of young leader’s awards. In addition, the use of Quicksticks equipment made available for schools within the cluster.
They are currently running a men’s team, an Under 16 team and an Under 11 team. A number of pupils from Small Heath School have represented the club.
