Morning swim club provides an extra opportunity for all children to take part in sport before school. The programme allows children to improve their strokes, water skills, personal survival and aquatic game skills (e.g. 3 v 3 water polo). Sessions run Tuesday and Thursday morning 7.45am - 8.45am and target Year 7 and 8 boys.
In addition, a girls only swim club with the same emphasis runs Tuesday after school. Both programmes provide access to the Strokes Award programme, run by Birmingham City Council, an exit route for children who want to further develop their water skills
