Christ Church Community Cup

On Thursday 15th October Mo Muhsen from Christ Church School in association with Leroy Richards from the community club Football Futures hosted The Christ Church Community Cup.

Although it was a very rainy day 5 schools turned up for this exciting event. The schools were Chandos, Greet, Heathmount, Christ Church and Conway. St Albans Academy provided the Sports Leaders to referee the games.

All schools played 4 games and then played a final match for their places. It was very close with Christ Church taking the Cup and Greet coming second. WELL DONE CHRIST CHURCH.

Leroy spoke to the players about football they could take part in within the community and then awarded trophies and certificates. The final trophy was a fair play cup which was awarded to Heathmount.

Big thanks to MoMuhsen for organising this competition which was thouroughly enjoyed by players and supporters.
