Partnership Speedstacking Festival - 3rd Feb

Calthorpe recently hosted its first ever Partnership Speedstacking Festival with 4 schools each bringing a boys and a girls team to compete in 4 scoring events as well as some fun non scoring events too.

With St.Alban's providing Y8 & 9 Sports Leaders to officiate and score the event it proved to be a very exciting affair with lots of colour and noise from the four schools taking part: Calthorpe, Chandos, Colebourne & St.Anne's.

Colebourne also provided lots of the colour with fantastic flags, badges and banners in the colours of Chile their adopted country for the Calthorpe Olympics.

There were some great performances from all teams but ultimately it finished with Chandos and St.Anne's equal first in the boys competition, while St.Anne's girls edged the girls to give St.Anne's School overall victory. Chandos finished 2nd, with Colebourne and Calthorpe ending up 3rd and 4th respectively in what was a very new sport to them.

Well done everyone involved, especially all the Chandos and St.Anne's teams for their very impressive cycle stack demonstration!
