Tuesday 20th October was Curriculum and Achievement day at Hodge Hill Girls School. During the day the pupils were off timetable to take part in subject led visits and activities.
Year 7 took part in Sports activities one of which was a visit from Ahmed a local Kabbadi coach.
Ahmed explained the history of Kabbadi and showed the pupils some video clips of the sport being played at a high level. He then taught the girls how to play a tag version of the game. The pupils first walked through the game stratergies then played a point version of the game.
All the pupils enjoyed learning a new game and are keen to play again
