Key Stage 1 Football Competition!!!

We were proud to host the FIRST ever Key Stage 1 Hodge Hill Cluster Football Competition sponsored by Protocol Education.

WOW.... what a lot of talent we have at Colebourne. Our keen footballers from year 1 and year 2 have been training hard to work as a team and learnt lots of football skills. The children have been attending an after school club run by Mrs Mills and Nigel Mcrow from Aston Villa.

To celebrate their effort and allow the KS1 Football Club a chance to showcase their abilities we held a tournament. Colebourne entered 4 teams and Firs Primary School also joined in the fun.

We are so very proud of all the children who played their socks off. We were very lucky also to have Claire Hider from Protocol Education as our referee and sponsor!!! Not forgetting all the parents and families who came to cheer on Colebourne..... MASSIVE "thanks" for all your support!!!

Last but by no means least we are very, very, very pleased to say that our Colebourne red team won the event and we now have a new shiny trophy in our cabinet….. “WELL DONE!!!”
