Small Heath Cluster: Indoor Athletics Winners

Calthorpe Partnership Athletics Finals

On 9th February, 12 children from years 4, 5 and 6, travelled to the National Indoor Arena, to compete in the Calthorpe Partnership Athletics finals.

Oldknow children, representing the Small Heath School cluster competed in a range of events from javelin to relay racing, against other schools from across East Birmingham.  Both boys and girls teams worked really hard to secure at least 8 wins across 12 different events.

For the third year in a row, they have secured their place as Calthorpe School Sports Partnership Champions.  The children will now take part in the City finals, where they will compete against others schools from across Birmingham.
