Chandos Sportshall Athletics competition

A couple of weeks ago Chandos visited Calthorpe for a Sporthall Athletics Competition. They brought three teams made up of Y5 & 6 children and competed in a number of different indoor track and field events.

The event was run by Calthorpe PE staff as well as Sports Leaders from both Calthorpe and St.Alban's Academy.

Chandos used the event as an intra-house competition which was won by Team Ricketts, the winning team named after their extremely enthusiastic coach/cheerleader on the sidelines!

Hopefully they got some good practice in before the Partnership Finals at Nechells on the 9th February!

Well done to everyone involved for making it such a fun event!
